Home Science Department of KanyaMahaVidayalaya, Jalandhar has organised an informative lecture on the topic “Exploring the Growing Popularity of Millets as Sustainable and Nutritious Food” on 8^th September, 2023 at Veer AsthaBhawan of the college.

A well experienced and qualified professional in the field of food technology was there as a resource person Dr. Sawinder Kaur, Associate Dean, School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. Students from B.Sc. Home Science, B.Voc. (Nutrition, Exercise & Health), DECCE and PGDND joined the lecture very actively.
